I had a lovely time at the Nook Market in North Hobart yesterday.

Upcoming markets

At nara design we make quality clothing for babies and children from 0 to 7 years, as well as clothing for adults and a small selection of home wares (cushions and bedding). Our creations are all about celebrating beautiful textiles. We use quality fabrics including organic cotton, organic wool and hemp fabrics, low impact textiles, Japanese and vintage fabrics, as well as Tasmanian manufactured woollen blanket fabrics and hand screen printed fabrics made in Australia. Our designs are simple, allowing our passion for textiles to speak for itself.

At the beginning of this year we did a lot of research and thinking about where we wanted to head with nara design in 2012. We purchased a large collection of new textiles and developed a range of new designs and ideas. Our designs will be simple allowing the textiles to be the star of our products. We hope to bring a unique and stylish collection of children’s wear, women’s wear and home wears.

Another year is nearly over. Thanks to all our customers over the past 12 months. We wish you a very happy Chrismtas and all the best for 2012. We'll be making some changes at nara design over the next couple of months - still focusing on lovely textiles but bringing in some new ideas. We'll be around the market schene next year again and will post the dates as soon as we know.
